Why this exists
Because the factory's software was always somebody else's software.
Walk into a small Indian factory and look at where the truth lives: a stock copy in the godown, an order diary near the phone, Tally at the accountant, wages in a notebook, and the owner's memory holding it together. Each tool is fine. The factory between them is not — the same fact is written four times, and the four copies disagree by month-end.
SutraBook is one thread through all of it. सूत्र means thread: goods come in once, and stock, money owed, GST and the books follow on their own. The software refuses the shortcuts that make books lie — and explains every refusal in plain words, in English and Hindi.
What we hold ourselves to
- Built for factories. Not shops, not everyone at once — and India first, so GST is native, not bolted on.
- Honest comparisons. Every compare page starts with what the other tool does well, and our own gaps stay printed.
- Refusals over apologies. Software that stops the costly mistake beats software that lets it through politely.
- Your data is yours. We cannot open your books, and every list exports — see Privacy.
- Both languages, written not translated. हर स्क्रीन हिन्दी में भी।
Where we are
Early, and saying so. The product runs real factories' shapes today — stock, production, job work, GST returns, wages — and the roadmap is public and uses the same words as our internal plan, so it cannot quietly go stale.
If your factory sounds like the paragraphs above, talk to us. Tell us what you make; we call back the same working day.
