The deal, in plain words
If a clause would surprise you in person, it does not belong here.
The service
SutraBook is business software for factories, sold as a subscription. You get the modules and limits of the plan you chose — every limit is published on the price list and visible in the app with a meter. Indian prices are before GST; a proper GST invoice is issued for every payment.
Paying, stopping, moving
- Monthly plans run month to month. Stop any time; access runs to the end of the paid period.
- A yearly payment covers twelve months and works out at two months free.
- You can move up or down between plans any day. Moving down turns screens off — it never deletes a document.
- If a payment fails, the account becomes read-only after a grace period. Nothing is deleted for non-payment.
Your side
The books you keep are yours, and so is the responsibility for what they say — SutraBook checks documents against each other, but it does not replace your accountant or file returns on your behalf. Keep your sign-in credentials with the people you trust; every user acts under their own login and role.
Our side
We keep the service running, keep your tenant isolated, and never look inside it (see Privacy). We fix what breaks. If we ever discontinue the service, you get at least ninety days' notice and a full export — your data leaves with you, never with us.
The refusals stand
The product refuses certain actions by design — typing over stock, editing a sent bill, paying a locked month twice. These refusals are the product working, not the product failing, and no support request can switch them off.
